KAST combines a USD account, stablecoins and a Visa in a convenient product. The free Standard level is useful, but exchange fees affect every euro payment. We appreciate the published fee table, yet still view KAST as a young international provider. Do not treat KAST Points as dollar cashback and avoid keeping an unnecessarily large balance on the platform.
The KAST Card is a Visa that connects a USD account and stablecoin balance. Users can deposit USDC or USDT, receive USD through a personal US account and spend globally with a virtual or physical card. It is a useful concept for anyone who regularly receives or spends dollars.
For a European user, the main disadvantage is the currency. The card is USD based. A euro payment generally carries a 0.5% to 1.75% exchange fee, making the free Standard card less free than it first appears.
- Free Standard membership
- Personal USD account for eligible users
- Virtual and physical Visa
- 2% to 8% in KAST Points during Season 5
- Points are not the same as euro cashback
- Non-USD card spending costs 0.5% to 1.75%

KAST Card review summary
Standard has no annual fee and the first virtual cards are normally free. A physical Standard card has no card price, but KAST charges $40 shipping. USD spending has no KAST transaction fee; other currencies have a variable exchange fee.
The advertised 2% to 8% rewards are KAST Points during a particular season. They are not guaranteed cashback in dollars or euros. KAST has also run temporary token campaigns, including 4% in MOVE. Judge the card on its fixed fees and functions, not a temporary token percentage.

What is KAST?
KAST is an international financial app combining stablecoins, USD transfers and a Visa card. KAST Tech is registered in Anjouan, Comoros. The non-US cardholder agreement names Third National as card issuer under a Visa licence.
KAST states that regulated partners provide bank accounts, card issuance and custody. This does not make KAST itself a bank or MiCA licensee. Legal protection depends on the product, partner and user country.
The Visa can be used where Visa is accepted. KAST supports virtual and physical cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Users can freeze the card and manage spending controls in the app.
A personal USD account
Eligible users can open a virtual USD bank account in their own name through KAST. The help centre says it is powered by Leads Bank in the United States and supports ACH and Fedwire. Incoming dollars are credited to the KAST balance and can then be transferred or spent.
KAST calls this a USD bank account, but its own product page also states explicitly that KAST is not a bank. Verify which partner provides your account, whether your country is supported and what protection applies to fiat and stablecoin balances.
USDC, USDT, USDe, PYUSD and RLUSD are supported on selected networks. Deposit and withdrawal lists differ. BTC, ETH and other cryptoassets can also be deposited, but KAST converts them automatically and currently publishes a 2% to 5% fee for that conversion.
KAST Card fees
Fees and costs
KAST does not charge a transaction fee for USD card payments. Euro and other currency transactions generally carry a 0.5% to 1.75% exchange fee. The exact fee depends on the country of residence and transaction country, so check the live fee in the app.
Published prices and Season 5 points
| Level | Price | Card and points |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0 per year | Virtual free; physical $40 shipping; 2% KAST Points |
| Premium | $1,000 per year | Physical included; 5% KAST Points |
| Limited | $5,000 one time | Limited metal card; 5% KAST Points |
| Luxe | From $10,000 per year | Premium card; 8% KAST Points |
The official fee schedule lists 0% for stablecoin deposits and USD card payments. Supported stablecoins are booked as a USD balance at 1:1 without a published KAST spread. A stablecoin can nevertheless lose its dollar peg.
Euro and other non-USD payments carry 0.5% to 1.75% FX. A small non-USD transaction below $25 also costs $0.10. A transaction declined for insufficient funds can cost $0.50.
ATM use is expensive: $3 plus 2% per withdrawal. Non-USD exchange fees are added on top. The maximum is $250 per withdrawal and three withdrawals or $750 per 24 hours. The ATM owner may add a separate surcharge.
Standard, Premium, Limited and Luxe
Standard costs $0 per year. The first two virtual cards are generally free, although the first virtual card may cost $2 in some countries. A physical Standard card is free with $40 shipping.
Premium costs $1,000 per year, Limited $5,000 once and Luxe starts at $10,000 per year. These prices only make sense for users who genuinely value the exclusive card, higher points multiplier and concierge. Earning more points alone is not a strong reason to prepay thousands of dollars.
During Season 5, KAST publishes 2% points for Standard, 5% for Premium and Limited and 8% for Luxe. Points may have uncertain future value or utility. The temporary 4% MOVE campaign is presented on top of those points, but remains a token reward with price and campaign risk.

Security and risks
KAST is a young provider and not a bank. The card, USD account, custody and optional on-chain Earn products can be delivered by different partners. One partner’s licence does not automatically place every KAST service under the same protection.
Stablecoins carry issuer, depeg and network risks. KAST Earn uses DeFi vaults and adds smart contract, liquidity and protocol risk. A displayed balance or yield is not the same as a guaranteed bank deposit.
Use a strong unique password, enable every available security control and test each blockchain with a small amount first. Verify the network carefully and keep only what you need for spending on KAST.
Our experience and conclusion
KAST has built an interesting product for users combining dollars and stablecoins. A USD account with ACH and Fedwire, a free virtual Visa and direct stablecoin deposits is a strong package.
Exchange fees are the weak point for European users. A fee as high as 1.75% can consume almost all of the value of 2% KAST Points. The fixed $3 and 2% ATM charge is even less attractive.
Our conclusion is cautiously positive for dollar use but reserved for euro use. Start with free Standard, treat points and tokens as an extra, and pay for Premium or Luxe only when their concrete benefits genuinely justify the price.
