Best crypto debit cards 2026: top 5 and fees

Make CryptoTips a preferred source on Google

A crypto card lets you use crypto or stablecoins for everyday purchases. The provider converts your balance when you pay, or settles the purchase against a euro or dollar balance. That sounds simple, but the differences in cashback, conversion costs and subscriptions are substantial.

This comparison covers the five most interesting options for European users in 2026. We rank the OKX Card first because its standard costs are low and easy to understand. KAST follows with a useful stablecoin card and an exclusive subscription discount. Bybit offers the strongest conventional all-round card, while Ether.fi is mainly suited to experienced DeFi users. Crypto.com has many benefits, but meaningful rewards require a paid plan or a large CRO lockup.

One important distinction: MiCA regulates crypto services in the EU, not the payment card itself. Card issuance and payment services are generally covered by separate payment or electronic-money rules. Always check which company holds your crypto, which company issues the card and whether the card is available in your country.

Top 5 crypto cards in 2026

  1. OKX Card: the lowest standard conversion cost in this comparison and 2% to 5% cashback on eligible USDG payments.
  2. KAST Card: a USD stablecoin card with a free Standard plan and 10% off KAST subscriptions through our referral code.
  3. Bybit Card: a practical EU Mastercard with 1% cashback for regular users and higher VIP rates.
  4. Ether.fi Cash: a non-custodial credit card with progressive cashback of up to 3%.
  5. Crypto.com Card: 0% to 5% CRO rewards, but the better tiers require a subscription or substantial CRO lockup.

Crypto card cashback and fee comparison

Cashback alone is a poor way to compare cards. A 1% conversion charge can cancel out a 1% reward before FX costs, subscriptions or ATM fees are included.

Rates, caps and excluded merchant categories can change. Check the current in-app terms before applying, especially if the cashback is the main reason for your choice.

1. OKX Card: best overall for low costs

The OKX Card spends USDC or USDG from OKX Pay and converts it at the moment of purchase. OKX charges no annual card fee, transaction fee or separate FX fee. The published conversion spread is 0.1%, making this the cheapest straightforward option in our comparison.

Eligible purchases funded with USDG currently earn 2% to 5% cashback, depending on your OKX VIP level. Monthly caps and excluded merchant categories apply. Payments funded with USDC do not earn this standard cashback.

The previous introductory campaign offered as much as 20% cashback, but that campaign ended on 28 February 2026. Do not base your decision on that old promotional rate. The current 2% to 5% structure is the relevant comparison.

OKX Card benefits

  • No annual, monthly or transaction fee
  • 0.1% stablecoin conversion spread
  • No separate OKX FX fee
  • 2% to 5% cashback on eligible USDG purchases
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay support
  • OKX serves European users through its MiCA-authorised entity in Malta

The main limitations are that the card is currently primarily virtual, cashback only applies when spending USDG and both rewards and availability depend on your country and account status.

2. KAST Card: 10% off KAST subscriptions

KAST connects a Visa card to a USD stablecoin balance. The free Standard plan is sufficient for ordinary spending, while Premium and Luxe add higher limits and other benefits. You can use referral code 5EH1XGC3 to receive 10% off KAST subscriptions.

That discount applies to KAST membership subscriptions, not to Netflix, Spotify or every purchase made with the card. The Standard plan is already free, so the discount is mainly relevant if you choose a paid KAST plan. At the published $1,000 annual price, 10% off Premium represents a $100 saving.

KAST charges no fee for stablecoin deposits or USD card payments. Non-USD payments generally carry an FX fee of 0.5% to 1.75%, depending on the country and transaction. Small non-USD transactions below $25 may incur $0.10, while an ATM withdrawal costs $3 plus 2% and any applicable FX charge.

KAST Card benefits

  • Free Standard plan and virtual cards
  • Physical card available, although shipping may cost extra
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay support
  • Stablecoin deposits without a KAST top-up fee
  • Exclusive 10% discount on KAST subscriptions with our code

KAST has offered seasonal card rewards in KAST Points and tokens. These campaigns have end dates and should not be treated as guaranteed cash cashback. KAST also works with regulated partners for payment, card and custody services; that is different from claiming that KAST itself holds a MiCA licence. Check country eligibility and the current reward season in the app.

Join KAST with code 5EH1XGC3 and get 10% off

3. Bybit Card: strong all-round choice in the EU

The Bybit EU Card is a Mastercard linked to your Bybit EU account. Bybit EU operates from Austria under a MiCA authorisation. The card works with euro and supported crypto balances and can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Since August 2026, regular non-VIP users receive a flat 1% cashback on eligible purchases without a monthly cashback cap. VIP users keep tiered rates of 2% to 10%. New cardholders can also receive 100% cashback on selected subscriptions during their first month, capped at €50. Merchant exclusions and programme conditions still apply.

Bybit Card costs

  • No annual or monthly card fee
  • Virtual card free; physical card €10
  • Crypto-to-fiat conversion fee: 0.9%
  • Foreign-currency fee: 0.5% on top of the Mastercard rate
  • First €100 of ATM withdrawals each month free, then 2%

The 1% cashback roughly offsets the 0.9% conversion fee if the card must convert crypto. Funding purchases with euros can therefore be more economical. Higher cashback is possible, but a 10% VIP headline is not the standard return for a new user.

4. Ether.fi Cash: for experienced DeFi users

Ether.fi Cash is not a conventional debit card. It is a non-custodial Visa credit card that lets you borrow against crypto held through your Ether.fi account. This can avoid selling an asset at the time of payment, but it introduces borrowing, smart-contract and liquidation risks.

Cashback is paid in USDC and is progressive. Depending on the membership tier, the first part of monthly spending can earn 3%, after which the rate falls to 1%, 0.5% or, for some euro thresholds, 0.1%. The words “up to 3%” therefore do not mean that every purchase earns 3% indefinitely.

The card is currently USD denominated. Ether.fi’s published help information indicates a base conversion cost of around 1% for non-USD payments, plus a margin of up to 0.5% on Core or 0.25% on Luxe. Some accounts or campaigns may receive a zero-FX benefit, so verify the live rate in your account. ATM withdrawals cost 2%, and virtual or physical card issuance can cost between $10 and $100 depending on the tier.

Ether.fi is most suitable if you already understand collateral, loan-to-value ratios and liquidation. It is unnecessarily complex for someone who simply wants to spend euros or stablecoins.

5. Crypto.com Card: many benefits, expensive upper tiers

The Crypto.com Card is a prepaid card with several Level Up plans. Rewards are paid in CRO, so their euro value changes with the CRO price. The free Basic plan earns 0%, while the paid or locked tiers currently offer 2% to 5% CRO rewards.

The Plus plan costs €3.99 per month or €39.90 per year and offers 2% with a $25 monthly reward cap. Pro costs €24.99 per month or €249.90 per year and offers 3% with a $75 cap. Private requires a €45,000 CRO lockup for 4%; Obsidian requires €450,000 in CRO for 5%. Higher plans can include Spotify, Netflix, airport-lounge and other benefits, but those benefits do not eliminate the exposure to CRO.

Crypto.com Card costs

  • Basic virtual plan: no subscription, but no cashback
  • Debit or credit card top-up: 1%
  • ATM: 2% above the plan’s monthly free allowance
  • Physical card issuance or replacement fees can apply
  • €5 monthly inactivity fee after 12 months without cardholder-initiated activity
  • Foreign-currency fees depend on the card tier and transaction region

Crypto.com can be worthwhile if you use several included benefits and accept CRO price risk. For ordinary spending, OKX, KAST or Bybit is easier to understand and usually requires less capital.

Which crypto card should you choose?

Choose OKX if low standard costs matter most and you are comfortable paying with USDG. Choose KAST if you want a USD stablecoin card and can benefit from the 10% subscription discount. Bybit is the strongest conventional all-round alternative for users of Bybit EU.

Ether.fi is a specialist choice for DeFi users who deliberately want to borrow against crypto. Crypto.com suits people who value its wider package of benefits and understand that the best rates require recurring fees or a large CRO position.

Finally, calculate the net result rather than the advertised cashback. Subtract conversion, FX, subscription, ATM and opportunity costs, and remember that rewards paid in points or tokens can lose value.
