OKX referral code

New OKX customers get a permanent 20% discount on all trading fees with this referral code. It applies whether you use OKX Europe or OKX Global. European users also receive €20 in Bitcoin after buying €100 in crypto, and there is a temporary 8% bonus on your deposit.

The referral code is for new users only. It cannot be applied after you have registered or once your account is fully verified. OKX was previously called OKEx.

Is OKX Europe safe to use?

OKX operates in Europe through OKX Europe Limited in Malta and holds a MiCA licence as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider through the MFSA, which allows it to serve users across the European Union. The earlier registration with the Dutch central bank lapsed when MiCA came into force, so supervision now runs through the MiCA licence.

For derivatives, OKX also holds a MiFID II licence in Malta. On that basis OKX Europe now offers X-Perps, which lets European users trade perpetual futures within the European rules.

On transparency, OKX publishes a monthly Proof of Reserves report showing 1:1 backing that you can verify yourself through zk-STARK technology.

OKX Europe or OKX Global

OKX runs two separate platforms.

OKX Europe is regulated under MiCA through OKX Europe Limited in Malta, with more than 150 cryptocurrencies, spot trading, earn products and X-Perps under the MiFID II licence.

OKX Global offers a wider range, including futures, margin trading, mining pools and more advanced tools, and is aimed at users outside the European Union.

The referral code works on both platforms and gives you the 20% lifetime discount either way.

How does the OKX code work?

Every exchange charges a fee per trade. On OKX Europe the standard rates are 0.20% maker and 0.35% taker. On OKX Global base fees start at 0.08% maker and 0.10% taker. Holding OKB, the native token, lowers those further, as does your 30-day trading volume.

The referral code adds 20% on top. It works through commission sharing: the 20% that OKX pays us goes straight back to you as cashback after every trade. It combines with the other discounts and has no end date.

How to apply the OKX referral code

The discount is then applied automatically. On OKX Europe you can also claim €20 in Bitcoin by buying €100 or more in crypto as a new user.

How much can you save?

A simple example. Buy €1,000 worth of crypto on OKX Europe and at a taker fee of 0.35% you pay €3.50. With the 20% cashback you get €0.70 back on that single trade. It adds up:

On OKX Global base fees start lower at 0.10% taker, and the 20% still applies. For an active trader doing €50,000 a month there, that is €120 a year.

These savings are automatic and have no expiry date, which is the main advantage of this code. Most exchanges offer a one-time bonus or a discount that runs out after 30 days.

Can I combine the referral code with other discounts?

Yes. The 20% cashback stacks on top of the other OKX discounts:

• OKB token discount: holding OKB lowers your trading fees, and the more you hold the larger the discount.
• Volume tiers: OKX uses a tiered fee structure, so the more you trade within 30 days the lower your base fees.

All three work together: reduced base fees from your volume, an extra discount from OKB, and the 20% cashback on whatever is left.
