How does the KuCoin cashback work?

Crypto blogs receive commission on the trades of the users they bring in, and can choose to share it. We share 20% with you, which means 20% of your trading fee comes back as cashback after every trade.

KuCoin charges its standard fee, you pay the same as everyone else, and with code QBSSSP6M a fifth of it is returned to your account automatically. The discount is automatic and lasts for the lifetime of your account.

How much can you save?

KuCoin charges 0.10% for both makers and takers on spot trading. Buy $1,000 worth of crypto and you pay $1.00 in fees, of which $0.20 comes back. On one trade that is negligible, over a year it is not:

Futures fees on KuCoin Global are 0.02% for maker and 0.06% for taker. Because futures volumes tend to be higher, the absolute saving there is larger. These savings are automatic and have no expiry date.

Can I combine the code with the KCS discount?

Yes. The referral cashback stacks on top of the KCS holder discount. Holding KCS in your account with fee deduction enabled gives another 20% off:

Combined, your effective spot fee drops to 0.064%, which is 36% below the standard rate. For someone trading $50,000 a month that is $216 a year. On top of that, KuCoin has volume-based VIP tiers that lower fees further.

KuCoin newcomer rewards

Alongside the fee discount, KuCoin runs newcomer rewards through the Rewards Hub, unlocked by completing tasks in order: signing up, identity verification, a first deposit, a first trade and a set of advanced tasks.

Two things are worth understanding before you count on the headline number. Withdrawable rewards only become withdrawable once they add up to 10 USDT, and the largest part of the package consists of futures trial funds, which are not your money. They let you practise futures trading, and only the profits you make with them may be withdrawable.

Amounts and tasks change regularly and the promotion is time-limited, usually 30 days after registration, so check the Rewards Hub for the current offer. The rewards do stack with the referral discount.

KuCoin EU and the suspension

KuCoin received a MiCA licence in Austria in November 2025 through KuCoin EU Exchange GmbH, supervised by the Austrian Financial Market Authority, and launched the European platform on 28 January 2026 at an event in Vienna. Within weeks the regulator suspended the platform over compliance and anti-money-laundering shortcomings, which put new registrations, deposits and trading on hold for EEA users.

That suspension is the current situation, so the European platform described below is not usable right now. Whether and when it resumes depends on the regulator.

For reference, KuCoin EU was set up as a broker model with euro deposits and withdrawals, local support, spot trading at 0.10% and more than 100 MiCA compliant coins, with staking, advanced order types and a Visa card still in development.
