Binance referral ID
Use this Binance referral ID when you create a new account and receive a lifetime 20% discount on every trade.
Affiliate link. Note: investing is risky. You can lose part or all of your deposit.
- Lifetime 20% cashback on every spot trade
- Stacks with the 25% BNB discount for 40% in total
- Lowest base fees among the major exchanges
- Not available to users inside the European Union
The ID can only be entered while creating your account. If you already have an account, it is no longer possible to add it.
The 20% lifetime cashback stacks with the 25% discount you get by holding Binance Coin in your wallet, which brings the total to 40% off your trading fees. Plenty of websites promise higher Binance discounts, but 20% cashback is the absolute maximum. You can verify the rate yourself once your account is open.
Funding your account is flexible: Binance supports credit and debit cards, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, SEPA and other bank transfers, and a range of local payment providers depending on where you live. Crypto deposits are free.
Please note: Binance does not hold a MiCA licence and is not available to users inside the European Union since 1 July 2026. If that applies to you, Bybit EU and OKX are licensed alternatives. Everywhere else, the referral ID works as described.

How is the discount calculated?
The standard trading fee on Binance is 0.10% per trade. Holding Binance Coin saves you 25%, bringing it down to 0.075%. On a single trade of €1,000 that is €0.75 in fees.
With the referral ID active you get 20% of that back, so Binance refunds €0.15 and your effective cost drops to €0.60. Compared to the standard fee of €1.00 that is a 40% discount. At higher volumes the difference adds up quickly.
Futures fees are lower still: 0.02% for maker orders and 0.05% for taker orders. The Binance Futures referral ID 35205504 takes another 10% off those fees.

Binance fees explained
Binance uses a maker and taker model. You pay a fee every time you buy or sell crypto, and the rate depends on the trade type and on whether you add liquidity (maker) or take it (taker).
Standard fees for non-VIP users:
| Trade type | Maker fee | Taker fee |
|---|---|---|
| Spot trading | 0.10% | 0.10% |
| Futures (USDT-M) | 0.02% | 0.05% |
| Options | 0.03% | 0.03% |
There are two ways to lower them. First, hold BNB for an automatic 25% discount on spot fees. Second, use the referral ID for 20% cashback on top. Combined that is a 40% total discount on spot fees.
High-volume traders can climb the VIP programme, which runs up to nine tiers. VIP 1 starts at a 30-day volume of 1,000,000 USDT or a holding of 25 BNB. Crypto and SEPA deposits are free, while card deposits may carry a fee from the payment processor.
How does the Binance referral programme work?
Besides the fee discount, Binance runs a Refer & Earn programme that rewards both sides. When someone signs up through your personal link, buys at least $50 in crypto and trades $100 or more via Spot or Convert, you both receive a $100 trading fee rebate voucher.
You can earn up to $1,000 in rebates by referring multiple people, and Binance regularly runs limited-time campaigns with extra token rewards. To set it up, open the Refer & Earn page in your account, copy your link and share it. Rewards are credited automatically once the other person completes the steps.
Binance compared with Bybit and OKX
How does the Binance discount hold up against the other major global exchanges?
| Binance | Bybit | OKX | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spot fee (maker / taker) | 0.10% / 0.10% | 0.10% / 0.10% | 0.08% / 0.10% |
| Futures fee (maker / taker) | 0.02% / 0.05% | 0.02% / 0.055% | 0.02% / 0.05% |
| Referral discount | 20% cashback (lifetime) | 10% fee discount | 20% discount on fees |
| Token discount | 25% with BNB | 25% with MNT | Discount with OKB |
| Max total spot discount | 40% | 10% | 20% |
| Cryptocurrencies | 350+ | 1,400+ | 296+ |
| MiCA licence | No | Yes, through Bybit EU | Yes, through OKX Europe |
Binance offers the highest combined referral discount for spot trading: 20% cashback stacked with the 25% BNB discount is 40% off, which no other major exchange matches. OKX has slightly lower base maker fees at 0.08%, but no comparable cashback programme.
Keep in mind that these are the global rates. The European entities, Bybit EU and OKX Europe, run separate platforms with their own fee schedules, which are generally higher.
Is Binance safe?
Binance is widely considered one of the safest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. It has never suffered a hack that resulted in permanent loss of user funds and invests heavily in security.
One of the key measures is the Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU), an emergency fund established in 2018 that holds around $1 billion in USDC. Binance also publishes Proof of Reserves, so anyone can verify that user assets are backed 1:1. Together with two-factor authentication, withdrawal address whitelisting and real-time monitoring, that makes for a solid security layer.
That said, holding crypto on an exchange means you do not hold the private keys. For long-term storage, moving your assets to a personal hardware wallet is the safer option.
What is Binance?
Binance is the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, used by more than 300 million people across over 180 countries. It was founded in 2017 by Changpeng Zhao (CZ) and has grown into a full ecosystem with spot trading, futures, staking and an NFT marketplace, listing over 350 cryptocurrencies.
The exchange is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of the Abu Dhabi Global Market and is led by co-CEOs Richard Teng and Yi He. In Europe the picture is different: the MiCA application filed in Greece did not result in a licence, so Binance is no longer available to users in the European Union.
With more than $50 billion in daily trading volume, deep liquidity and support in 40 languages, Binance remains the reference point for beginners and experienced traders alike outside the EU.
