ProBit Global did not merely leave Europe; it closed worldwide. All trading services and withdrawal routes have ended. Do not open an account or trust people claiming to operate a ProBit recovery service.
ProBit Global is permanently closed. The exchange first stopped active services for users in the EU and EEA and subsequently ended trading, withdrawals and customer support worldwide.
This review is therefore a historical record, not a recommendation. An old ProBit page, app or referral link no longer provides access to an active exchange.

ProBit review summary
ProBit Global launched in 2018 and was best known for listing many smaller altcoins, IEOs and its own PROB token. It was distinct from the separately operated ProBit Korea platform.

Active EU and EEA services ended on 30 December 2025. Global spot trading stopped on 28 January 2026. ProBit then terminated all services on 26 February and permanently closed the website on 1 April 2026.
Pros
- Users received advance notice through a staged wind-down
- Historically listed a large number of altcoins
- Offered a late asset-return process after standard withdrawals ended
Cons
- Permanently closed worldwide
- Trading, deposits and withdrawals are unavailable
- Withdrawal and asset-return deadlines have passed
- No active customer support or MiCA authorisation
Why did ProBit close?
ProBit announced a staged wind-down of ProBit Global. Users were initially given time to close orders and withdraw assets. Standard withdrawals ended on 25 February 2026, followed by a limited late asset-return process in March.
The closure was not limited to Europe. ProBit Global ceased operating worldwide. Older descriptions of the exchange as active or inexpensive are no longer valid.
Can I still open a ProBit account?
No. Registration, deposits and trading are no longer possible. The old KYC process has also ended.

What should former users do?
The official withdrawal and asset-return windows have now passed. Be extremely cautious if someone contacts you and offers to recover cryptocurrency in return for an upfront payment.
- Do not send cryptocurrency to old ProBit deposit addresses.
- Never share a password, 2FA code or seed phrase.
- Do not pay an advance recovery fee to an unknown party.
- Retain old emails, transaction records and account evidence.
- Report suspicious approaches to your local fraud or law-enforcement authority.
Historical operation and fees
ProBit was a centralised spot exchange. Users deposited cryptocurrency, placed market or limit orders and temporarily held assets in a custodial wallet.

The old base fee was 0.20% per spot trade. Higher-volume traders and PROB holders could receive discounts. All of these rates and benefits have expired.

Fees and costs
These figures are historical only. ProBit Global no longer accepts customers, orders, deposits or withdrawals.

ProBit or an active exchange?
ProBit is no longer an option because the platform does not operate as a global exchange. EU users should choose an active MiCA authorised exchange with transparent legal entities, fees and withdrawal terms.
Bitvavo is our alternative for straightforward euro purchases and sales. Users outside Europe should check the local licence, eligibility and asset protection of any alternative before depositing.

Is ProBit still reliable?
A closed platform cannot be assessed in the same way as an active exchange. The staged wind-down gave users time to leave, but the deadlines have passed and there is no active MiCA authorisation or normal customer service available to new clients.
The termination notice explained how remaining assets would be handled after the final deadline. Anyone who believes they still have a legal claim should seek appropriate advice and avoid random recovery services.
Conclusion of this ProBit review
ProBit Global has closed worldwide. Trading ended, withdrawal windows have passed and the website is no longer operational. We do not recommend ProBit and no longer show its former fee discount.
Choose an active regulated exchange and consider moving cryptocurrency that is not used for trading to a personal wallet.
