Bit2Me Review 2026

3,8 / 5 our rating

Bit2Me is a serious, MiCA authorised European platform with a broad product range. The regulation and Spanish support are strong points, but Wallet purchases are expensive and even the base Pro fees are higher than Bitvavo's.

Bit2Me is an active Spanish crypto platform with a European MiCA licence. It offers a simple Wallet, the more advanced Bit2Me Pro interface, Earn products and a Mastercard. The product range is useful, but the costs require attention.

The old claim that Bit2Me always charges 2.76% is no longer accurate. The current structure is split across products. Wallet has a base 0.95% operation fee, may include a spread and can add up to 1.99% when a direct euro payment is processed. Bit2Me Pro starts at 0.50% maker and 0.60% taker.

Bit2Me review summary

Bit2Me has grown considerably since its launch in 2014. The platform now supports more than 250 cryptocurrencies in Wallet and advertises around 291 markets on Pro. Customers can also use Earn, Pay, Card and tax tools from the same account.

The biggest improvement is regulatory. Bitcoinforme S.L. received authorisation from the Spanish CNMV to provide crypto asset services under MiCA on 28 July 2025. This allows the company to serve eligible users across the European Economic Area under one European framework.

That licence does not make the platform cheap. A direct Wallet purchase can combine the 0.95% operation fee, a variable spread and as much as 1.99% in payment processing costs. Pro is much clearer, but its 0.60% starting taker fee is still high compared with lower cost European exchanges.

Pros

  • MiCA authorisation from the Spanish CNMV
  • Operating since 2014 with a strong focus on Spain and Europe
  • Wallet and advanced Pro interface in one account
  • More than 250 cryptocurrencies and hundreds of markets
  • Euro deposits and withdrawals by bank transfer
  • Earn, Card, Pay and tax tools
  • ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 certifications

Cons

  • Wallet costs can reach 2.94% before the spread on a direct euro purchase
  • Pro starts at a relatively high 0.50% maker and 0.60% taker
  • A variable spread can apply to Wallet transactions
  • Inactive accounts can be charged €10 per month
  • Fixed Earn products can impose a severe early withdrawal deduction

What is Bit2Me?

Bit2Me is a Spanish crypto company operated by Bitcoinforme S.L. The company started in 2014 and has developed from a simple buying service into a broad account for buying, selling, trading, storing and spending crypto.

Its two trading routes should not be confused:

  • Bit2Me Wallet is designed for simple purchases, sales and swaps. The price is fixed briefly and the costs can include both fees and spread.
  • Bit2Me Pro provides markets, an order book and limit or market orders. It uses published maker and taker fees based on 30 day volume.

For cost conscious users, Pro is usually the more sensible route. Wallet prioritises convenience and can be much more expensive.

MiCA licence and company information

Bitcoinforme S.L. is based in Elche, Alicante and has Spanish tax number B54835301. The CNMV authorised the company as a crypto asset service provider under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, better known as MiCA, by resolution of 28 July 2025.

The authorisation covers regulated crypto services such as custody, exchange, transfer, execution and reception or transmission of orders. Bit2Me is therefore a properly regulated European provider, not an offshore platform using a European translation without a local licence.

MiCA improves supervision, governance, complaints handling and the safeguarding framework. It does not create a bank deposit guarantee for crypto and does not protect users against market losses.

The screenshot above shows an older version of the registration screen. The current app and website look different, but the process still consists of creating an account, confirming personal details and completing identity checks.

Bit2Me Wallet and Pro

Wallet is the easiest way to enter an amount and buy crypto. It also supports sales and crypto swaps. This convenience hides more of the pricing mechanics than an order book does. Bit2Me states that Wallet uses the ask price, may include a wider spread for order size and liquidity, and locks the quote for a short period.

Historical Bit2Me platform

Pro gives the user more control. A limit order can qualify for the maker rate if it adds liquidity, while a market order normally pays the taker rate. Funds can move between Wallet and Pro free of charge.

The old cash, ATM and Tikebit emphasis in this review has been removed. Those features no longer describe the core 2026 platform.

Bit2Me fees

The base Wallet operation fee is 0.95% for purchases, sales and swaps. A direct purchase with euros or another traditional currency may add 1.99% in operational and management costs. Bit2Me also explains that the execution price can contain a spread.

This means a direct €1,000 Wallet purchase could carry €9.50 in operation fees and up to €19.90 in payment processing costs before considering the spread. Space Center discounts can reduce the operation fee, but users should judge the standard cost first rather than assume they will reach the highest loyalty level.

Bit2Me Pro starts at:

  • 0.50% maker and 0.60% taker up to €2,000 in 30 day volume;
  • 0.20% maker and 0.30% taker from €2,001 to €50,000;
  • lower rates at larger volumes.

Stablecoin to euro markets use a separate schedule of 0% maker and 0.01% taker. The official Bit2Me fee structure and the preview shown before an order are decisive.

Fees and costs

Bit2Me Wallet and Bit2Me Pro have separate pricing. Wallet can combine a 0.95% operation fee, a variable spread and, for a direct euro purchase, up to 1.99% in operational and management costs. Pro uses volume based maker and taker rates. Always check the final order preview.

Bit2Me or Bitvavo?

Bit2Me has the broader collection of extra services and is particularly relevant for Spanish users who value local support. Its MiCA licence is a genuine advantage.

For ordinary euro spot trading, Bitvavo is cheaper. Bitvavo starts at 0.15% maker and 0.25% taker, compared with 0.50% and 0.60% on Bit2Me Pro for the smallest volume tier. The difference is even larger when a Bit2Me Wallet purchase combines the operation fee, payment costs and spread.

Choose Bit2Me for its Spanish ecosystem, Card or a specific product. Choose Bitvavo when straightforward low cost euro trading is the priority.

Deposits and withdrawals

Bit2Me supports euro transfers and, depending on the country, cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Standard bank transfers usually take one or two business days, while eligible instant SEPA transfers can arrive immediately.

Bank deposits and withdrawals are normally free at Bit2Me, although some funding routes can carry processing costs. Crypto withdrawals do not have a separate Bit2Me commission, but the user pays an estimated network fee shown before confirmation.

Bit2Me Card

The Bit2Me Card is a Mastercard for eligible residents of the European Economic Area. It can spend from a euro or supported crypto wallet.

Euro wallet payments cost 0%. A payment funded with crypto has a 0.95% conversion fee. The virtual card and monthly maintenance are free, while physical issuance and foreign currency or international ATM costs depend on the user’s level and transaction.

Bit2Me Earn

Earn supports selected assets through flexible or fixed arrangements. Bit2Me says it does not charge a normal Earn service fee, but the displayed reward can change and is not guaranteed.

The main warning concerns fixed terms. Withdrawing before the agreed end can deduct 10% of the initial amount deposited, not merely 10% of the rewards. Read the asset specific conditions before locking funds.

Security

Bit2Me offers two factor authentication and account security controls. The company also holds ISO 27001 for information security management and ISO 22301 for business continuity management.

These are useful controls, but custody still creates platform risk. Keep strong login security, verify withdrawal addresses and consider a personal hardware wallet for assets you intend to hold for a long period.

Bit2Me experiences

The strongest parts of the experience are the single app, Spanish roots, multilingual support and extensive range of products. Beginners can buy quickly, while more experienced users can switch to Pro.

Pricing is the weak point. Wallet mixes a visible operation fee with possible payment costs and spread, while the lowest Pro tier is not especially competitive. The €10 monthly inactivity charge is another condition users can easily overlook.

Conclusion of our Bit2Me review

Bit2Me is reliable enough to consider: it has operated since 2014, holds a full MiCA authorisation from the CNMV and offers much more than a basic crypto broker.

We award 3.8 out of 5. The licence and product range are convincing, but the Wallet can be very expensive and Pro starts above Bitvavo’s base rates. Compare the final quote carefully and use Pro when you choose Bit2Me for trading.

  • A honest review

I bought against a high price in the market because I directly wanted to convert them in another altcoin, it finally took me 1,5 days to verify my card, and only then I saw my tokens received. They applied the exchange rate at the moment of purchase and not the verification date/hour AND WITH THIS, I LOST/THEY STOLE 5,7% OF MY TOKENS. The only response that I got back is that they said they had given me the tokens earlier but I never saw this, didn't get a notification, and is against their own policy. TO BE HONEST, I normally would not even bother to give a 'negative review' but this time I REALLY FEEL ROBBED BY THIS COMPANY.
