PlanB, the anonymous Dutch trader and financial analyst who recently told his followers he would be quitting his job to focus solely on Bitcoin, got suspended from Twitter in the past hours.

Just woke up to see my account suspended and all 300k followers gone. No explanation from twitter, no dm, nothing. Does anybody know what happened? More accounts having this problem? @twitter, @twittersupport @jack HELP!!!

Other popular crypto accounts like The Crypto Dog (another anonymous trader who lives and trades in HongKong), Willy Woo and Jonny Moe Trades suffered the same fate. All accounts were very popular with crypto enthusiasts.

Twitter flagged their accounts as spam by mistake and removed their accounts by an automated proces. All accounts including all their followers have been restored by the Twitter staff. Willy Woo reported to be suspended for around 6 hours.

Ditto. My account was suspended for ~6 hrs.

I went through the process mentioning @100trillionUSD was taken down also and this was the email response they gave when they reactivated.

Let’s hope at least the scam accounts get under control. https://t.co/sW1BHkxXmN pic.twitter.com/JGeVPaCnDN

100 Trillion USD

PlanB, the anonymous Dutch quant who has a huge following on Twitter, has made it into the top 10 of Cointelegraph’s most influential crypto personalities, mostly due to his Stock To Flow model.

According to the Wall Street Journal, who recently spoke of the model it was:

Essentially a way of stating Bitcon’s inflaction rate. By this model, Bitcoin should trade more like gold and silver, Plan B argued. To the trader’s credit, back in 2019 Plan B predicted that the model implied Bitcoin should have a $1 trillion market value and trade at $55,000 some time after May 2020. That prediction was fulfilled Friday.

For those interested in still reading up, the man continues to have a website of course and is featured in many YouTube podcasts and interviews.
