Stablecoin inflows to Tron outpace rivals by more than tenfold
The amount of stablecoins on Tron grew by roughly $1 billion in the space of a week, placing the network head and shoulders above other blockchains. According to data from Token Terminal, no other chain comes anywhere near this increase. The difference is striking: the second-placed network recorded less than $85 million in growth.
Tron dominates stablecoin growth
Token Terminal’s figures show that the market capitalisation of stablecoins on Tron rose by approximately $1 billion over the past seven days, making the growth more than ten times greater than for any other blockchain on the list.
The gap becomes especially clear when Tron is measured against BNB Chain. The second-placed blockchain saw its stablecoin total rise by just $84.9 million. Aptos is close behind, with an increase of $82.1 million.
Avalanche has also attracted new stablecoin capital, adding $73.1 million in seven days. Stellar completes the top five with growth of $57.7 million.
The numbers highlight how exceptional Tron’s development has been. While several networks added tens of millions of dollars, Tron alone accounted for roughly a billion dollars.
Smaller blockchains growing too
Further down the ranking, the differences become smaller. Arbitrum One recorded an increase of $26.2 million, according to Token Terminal, with X Layer following at $24.3 million and Ink at $23.6 million.
Robinhood Chain also features in the overview, with the market capitalisation of its stablecoins rising by $18.4 million over seven days. Tempo rounds off the top ten shown with an increase of $10.9 million.
These figures measure the change in stablecoin market capitalisation for each blockchain. An increase therefore means the combined value of stablecoins on the network in question is growing. The data alone do not show how many transactions users are carrying out or what the capital is being used for.
The gap with rivals is enormous
For Tron, the sheer scale of the lead is the most striking point. Even when the growth of the nearest challengers is combined, the gap remains large.
The data therefore paint a clear picture of the past seven days: fresh stablecoin capital is not landing evenly across blockchains. Tron has taken by far the largest share of the growth among the chains in Token Terminal’s overview.
Whether this strong rise continues over the coming weeks cannot be inferred from this snapshot. For now, however, Tron stands convincingly at the top, with growth more than ten times that of any individual rival in the ranking.
