Podcasters pay you in Bitcoin to listen to them via ‘listen to earn’
We already had the ‘play to earn’ model where you play small games to earn some Satoshis (a Satoshi is one thousandth of a Bitcoin), we knew the ‘surf to earn’ model of the Brave browser where you can earn Basic Attention tokens by seeing ads while you surf, the ‘move to earn’ model of cryptocurrency Stepn where you earn tokens by exercising and now get the ‘listen to earn’ model where you get paid to listen to podcasts.
Podcast app that pays
Zedebee, a mobile payment platform that already promises payouts in Bitcoin to play games (they already had Bitcoin Chess and Bitcoin Scratch), will partner with a podcast platform called Fountain (promoted with the tagline ‘the podcast app that pays out’ ) to give listeners of new podcasters a chance to earn some Bitcoins by discovering original streamers.
@fountain_app and @zebedeeio to team up, rewarding podcasters with satoshis for listening to shows on the platform! 🎙️

The model is called “listen to earn” and is yet another proof that your personal data (where you surf, what you do, what you listen to) is worth money. It is not yet entirely clear how you will be paid, but the fact that there is yet another new way to earn some digital coins for your daily hobbies is so handy.
With this partnership, we’re supporting a new type of business model and economic activity, not just for the payments space, but in general.
