Jim Cramer predicts new Bitcoin crash, crypto fans convinced that this means rally about to start
Popular US television host Jim Cramer has done it again. The man predicted a Bitcoin crash several times over the past 18 months or so, and whenever he has done so, a new upwards cycle began for Bitcoin.
Crypto fans usually look at his predictions with a laugh and have even started an ‘inverse cramer’ fund to do the exact opposite of what Jim predicts. Again this week, after Jim said Bitcoin would soon crash, many predicted that Bitcoin’s year-end rally would start soon.
Mad Money
Zerohedge is the anonymous right-wing blogger who is very popular on social media. On X (formerly Twitter) he has almost two million loyal followers. His website with economic news is also very popular.
He is quite bearish in his outlook for the global economy though.
At the beginning of this year, he made a chart showing that Cramer was wrong again about Bitcoin.
Cramer, the eccentric host of Mad Money on CNBC, declared on January 9, 2023 that it was a good time to get out of Bitcoin. The largest digital coin was trading at $17,000 at the time. A month later it had already gone up to $25,000 and in the meantime we have already touched $30,000 this year.

Zerohedge wrote sarcastically: “this man is a national treasure”, next to the chart.
Bearish
Cramer was still a very big Bitcoin fan in 2021 and even made a lot of money by investing in it. But since the Bitcoin crash of 2022, Cramer’s opinion has completely turned and he is very bearish on Bitcoin.
This week he declared that ‘Mr Bitcoin is about to go down big’ and many on social media thought he meant Bitcoin would crash.

Crypto fans who remembered Zerohedge’s chart have since made his story go viral and are convinced that a year-end rally for Bitcoin is about to begin in earnest.
