Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin Mocks Elon Musk’s Minimalism
Vitalik Buterin is starting to work on his charisma as of late. Whereas he was seen as mostly intellectual and technical, in recent weeks and months there are sparkles of worldly knowledge and even interesting mocks to be found in his social media messages; Just yesterday he mocked Elon Musk for his use of a minimalist style when presenting the website for the Musk Foundation, a charity set up by the Tesla and Space X CEO.
And I thought https://t.co/BH2KPjhXZp is minimalist… https://t.co/96CKVdTwbD

Vitalik retweeted the original message from Julia Galef and stated:
And I thought vitalik.ca was minimalist.
He with that referred to his own blog on vitalik.ca which is indeed rather simply made, not what one would expect from Elon Musk or Tesla for that matter.
Most comments in return agreed with Vitalik that Musk could have made more of an effort to actually develop a website for this, although there was one that stated:
You can afford to forego the cologne, when everyone knows your shit smells like roses.
Right on. Others also stated they were pleased to see that Musk’s fans apparently are using the Brave browser. Crypto is apparently going mainstream already.
This is not the first time crypto and the Tesla CEO have met this year. Over the summer, Musk was mentioned in relation to crypto numerous times. In July, he was part of the many celebrities that fell victim to the infamous Twitter Bitcoin scam.
Back in August, it appeared that Tesla and Bitcoin were already the most popular investment goods of 2020, and the way it is going, it would seem that they’ll both finish the year very prevalent as well.
Ethereum and DeFi
Then again, Vitalik doesn’t need to worry about Musk taking away the shine from him any time soon. As Ethereum recently passed $500 per coin again and rumors are abounding of banks being interested to cooperate with the best known developer of smart contracts and the protocol that runs DeFi, Vitalik is sure to be followed for whatever comment he makes as from now.
