Crypto revival thanks to ZCash. Hyperliquid still trades near ATH

Although Bitcoin is still struggling to climb to $70,000, a revival appears to be underway for this year’s two altcoin stars: Hyperliquid and ZCash. They have been pulling the rest of the crypto market up with them over the past few days.

Upgrade

The well-known privacy coin ZCash was arguably the biggest gainer in the CoinMarketCap top 100 in 2025, and it appears to be performing very well in 2026 too. This cryptocurrency is also highly volatile.

That became evident earlier in the year when part of the development team stepped down, causing the price to drop by around 50% in just a few days.

A similar scenario played out this week after it emerged that the network’s security could not be guaranteed. The price fell by some 50 percent in a short time span —dropping from over $600 to around $300. Thanks to the promised ‘Ironwood’ upgrade, which will fix this issue, scheduled for later this month, the price recovered quickly; it is now trading close to this year’s all-time high again.

ATH

Hyperliquid, the crypto platform that allows you to invest in virtually any asset around the clock, also continues to perform exceptionally well and is still trading very close to last month’s all-time high. This year’s ‘crypto winter’ appears to have had no impact on Hyperliquid, which is highly popular among investors.
