Bitcoin to $1 Million? Bernstein Reveals Bold Targets Through 2033

Bitcoin is back in the spotlight after a remarkably swift recovery. From the sharp sell-off that followed its October 2025 peak, BTC has climbed around 28% in ten days. According to Bernstein, this rebound could signal that the bearish phase is nearing its end. In the analysts’ bullish scenario, Bitcoin could eventually reach $125.000, then $300.000 and, over the longer term, as much as $1 million.

Bitcoin recovers after decline of around 50%

The past few months have been fairly turbulent for Bitcoin. Since the top in October 2025, the largest cryptocurrency has lost roughly half of its value. The short-term picture is now changing quickly. Bitcoin has risen about 28% in ten days and is currently trading at around $78.234,34.

Over the past seven days, the gain stands at 21.90%, despite a decline of 0.89% in the last 24 hours. Daily trading volume comes to just over $31.1 billion. With roughly 20 million BTC in circulation, the market capitalisation stands at about $1.57 trillion.

Bernstein sees the rapid recovery as a potentially important turning point. If the bearish period is genuinely over, the analysts expect Bitcoin to be able to move back towards much higher levels.

$125.000 forms the first major target

In the bullish scenario, the first key price target sits at around $125.000 by the end of 2026. From a Bitcoin price of $78.435, that implies a potential gain of approximately 59%.

The accompanying chart places this move within a much longer Bitcoin cycle, in which periods of breakouts, hype, corrections and accumulation alternate. The projection assumes that, after the current phase, Bitcoin can embark on another strong upward cycle.

Strikingly, the chart indicates that $125.000 is not the endpoint. After a possible correction, a price of around $200.000 is already pencilled in for 2027.

Bullish scenario runs all the way to $1 million

For the longer term, the forecasts become considerably more spectacular. According to the shared information, Bernstein sees a possible Bitcoin price of $300.000 in 2029. Compared with $78.435, that represents a rise of roughly 282%.

But the scenario does not end there. Towards 2033, a price target of around $1 million even comes into view. From $78.435, that would amount to a gain of approximately 1.175%.

The chart clearly outlines a bullish scenario, not a guaranteed price trajectory. Before such levels become relevant, Bitcoin must first prove that the recent recovery genuinely marks the end of the bearish phase. The coming months will therefore be crucial in determining whether the 28% rise marks the start of a larger trend reversal.
