How to Transfer Crypto From Binance to OKX [2026 Tutorial]
If you can no longer trade your crypto on Binance as usual, moving your funds to another exchange can be a practical solution. In this guide, we explain how to transfer your portfolio from Binance to OKX step by step.
The easiest method is to first convert the crypto you want to move into USDC, transfer the USDC to OKX and then decide whether you want to rebuild your old portfolio or create a new one.
Step 1: Check your Binance portfolio
Log in to Binance and open your wallet or assets overview.
Before making any changes, it can be useful to take a screenshot of your current portfolio. This gives you a reference of which cryptocurrencies you own and how your portfolio is divided.
For example, your portfolio might contain Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and other cryptocurrencies.
This step is optional, but useful if you want to recreate the same portfolio on OKX later.
Step 2: Convert your crypto to USDC
Go to:
Trade → Convert
Select one of the cryptocurrencies in your Binance account and choose USDC as the asset you want to receive.
For example:
- BTC → USDC
- ETH → USDC
- SOL → USDC
- XRP → USDC
Repeat this process for every cryptocurrency you want to move.
When you are finished, the amount you want to transfer should be held in USDC.
Important: converting crypto means selling it
Converting your crypto to USDC means that you are selling your existing cryptocurrency in exchange for USDC.
If you want to keep the same crypto portfolio, you can buy the cryptocurrencies back once your USDC has arrived on OKX.
Keep in mind that prices can change between the moment you sell on Binance and the moment you buy back on OKX. Converting crypto can also have tax consequences depending on where you live.
Step 3: Create an OKX account
You need an OKX account before you can transfer your USDC.
If you do not have an account yet, you can create one here:
Complete the required registration and identity verification before continuing.
Step 4: Get your USDC deposit address on OKX
Log in to OKX and go to:
Assets → Deposit
Select USDC as the cryptocurrency you want to deposit.
OKX will ask you to choose a deposit network.
Step 5: Choose the correct network
This is the most important part of the transfer.
USDC can be transferred over different blockchain networks. You must make sure that the network selected on OKX is exactly the same as the withdrawal network you select on Binance.
For example, if you choose a specific USDC network on OKX, you must choose that exact same network when withdrawing USDC from Binance.
The OKX deposit network and Binance withdrawal network must match.
If the networks do not match, your funds may not arrive and could potentially be lost.
Once you have selected a supported network, OKX will show your deposit address.
Click Copy to copy the complete wallet address.
Step 6: Withdraw USDC from Binance
Go back to Binance and open your assets.
Select Withdraw and choose USDC.
Paste the deposit address you copied from OKX into the withdrawal address field.
Now select the network.
Make sure it is exactly the same network you selected on OKX.
If Binance does not support the network you selected on OKX, do not continue. Go back to OKX and choose a network that is supported by both exchanges.
Step 7: Double check everything
Before confirming the withdrawal, carefully check:
- The cryptocurrency is USDC
- The OKX deposit network and Binance withdrawal network are identical
- The wallet address is correct
- The first characters of the address match
- The last characters of the address match
- The withdrawal amount is correct
- Any minimum deposit requirements are met
- The withdrawal fee is acceptable
For larger transfers, consider sending a small test transaction first.
A test transaction lets you confirm that the wallet address and network are correct before sending the remaining balance.
Step 8: Confirm the withdrawal
Once everything is correct, click Withdraw.
Binance may ask you to complete additional security verification, such as an email confirmation, authenticator code or passkey.
After confirmation, Binance will submit the transaction to the blockchain.
Step 9: Wait for the USDC to arrive
Your USDC may arrive on OKX within a few minutes, but the exact transfer time depends on the network, blockchain confirmations and exchange processing.
Do not send the transaction again simply because it has not arrived after ten minutes.
You can check the withdrawal status in Binance and the deposit history in OKX.
Step 10: Decide what to do with your USDC
Once your USDC has arrived on OKX, you have two main options.
Create a new portfolio
You can keep your funds in USDC and build a completely new crypto portfolio.
Recreate your old Binance portfolio
If you took a screenshot before converting your crypto, you can use it as a reference.
You can then buy back the cryptocurrencies you previously owned and recreate approximately the same portfolio allocation.
For example, if your previous portfolio consisted of 40% Bitcoin, 30% Ethereum, 20% Solana and 10% XRP, you can use your USDC to buy those assets again on OKX.
Because crypto prices move continuously, the exact quantities may differ from your old Binance portfolio.
Binance to OKX checklist
Before sending your funds, check the following one final time:
- You converted the crypto you want to move into USDC.
- Your OKX account is ready to receive deposits.
- You selected USDC on OKX.
- You selected a network supported by both OKX and Binance.
- You copied the OKX deposit address.
- You selected USDC as the withdrawal asset on Binance.
- The network on Binance exactly matches the network on OKX.
- You verified the wallet address carefully.
- You checked the amount and fees.
- For larger amounts, you considered making a small test transaction first.
The network and wallet address are the most important parts of the transfer. Never guess these details. Check them carefully before confirming your withdrawal.
